Dr. Hasifah Namatovu Kasujja

Dr. Hasifah is a senior researcher and lecturer in the Department of Information Systems – College of Computing and Information Sciences. She specializes in health informatics, water informatics, data analytics, spatial analysis, IoT systems, and systems dynamics research.

Her work focuses on developing technology-driven solutions through participatory research, ensuring usability and effectiveness. She is highly proficient in database design, data analysis, and interdisciplinary research aimed at improving health service delivery through integrated technologies.

Prof. Amanda Tumusiime

Prof. Amanda Tumusiime is a Senior Research Associate with the NRF/DST SARChI research programme in Geopolitics and the Arts of Africa, Fine Art Department, Rhodes University, South Africa. She is a painter, feminist, activist, and art historian.

As an Associate Professor in the Department of Visual Communication and Multimedia at Makerere University, Uganda, she teaches Art History and Visual Culture. Currently, she serves as the Dean of the Margaret Trowell School of Industrial and Fine Arts.

Her research interests span feminism, art history activism, and the intersection of art and health. Through her work, she challenges patriarchal perceptions that marginalize young girls, grassroots women, the deaf, and the elderly in cultural discourses.
